The reliable, powerful aesthetic of the Fifty Fathoms watch from Blancpain lives on in this 45mm model from one of the brand’s most successful collections. The automatic men’s diving watch is crafted from brushed titanium for a lightweight feel on the wrist and protects the internally-fitted engine from 300-meter water depths. A black dial with a luxurious sunray finish is home to a set of applied indexes and legible central hands – both filled with luminous treatment to assist the wearer with clear timekeeping during the night or in low-light conditions. The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms watch also features a black unidirectional rotating bezel with luminous markers for easy measuring of elapsed time whilst underwater. Through an anti reflective sapphire crystal glass lens, which also covers the bezel to protect it from scratching and nicks, a date can be referenced at 4:30, along with Arabic numerals representing the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock locations. Inside an anti-magnetic case, the Blancpain calibre 1315 provides a 120-hour power reserve and beats at 28,8000 vibrations per day. The timepiece is completed on a black Sailcloth fabric strap with a supple rubber backing, securing with a traditional tang style buckle.
